George Ranch Baseball: A Tradition of Success

George Ranch High School opened as the fourth high school in Lamar Consolidated ISD in 2010.

Two years later, in 2012, George Ranch competed in our first varsity season.

Since then, the Longhorns have made the playoffs fourteen of the last sixteen seasons, including the COVID-shortened 2020 campaign.

Five district-championships (2012-15 and 2017) have been won by the Longhorns as well as a trip to the state tournament in 2014.

George Ranch is currently led by Head Coach Greg Kobza.  Coach Kobza has been the head baseball coach since the school opened in 2010 and has amassed over 400 wins during his career as a head baseball coach.
